10 Things I Would Of Told My Younger Self

10 Things I Would of Told My Younger Self

Last week Tara Lynn Coaching ✨and I ran workshops for the team at Endeavor with Daniela Silva and Carolina Echeveste, Assoc CIPD.

During the workshop, one of the attendees asked....What would you do?

These are 10 Things (amongst many others!) I would of loved to have told my younger self.

1. READ "RICH DAD, POOR DAD"

A classic, will completely change your mind and relationship about money.

2. TRUST YOUR GUT

No one knows everything, some give a great impression that they do, they don't. Trust your gut, its usually right.

3. HAVE LOTS OF CONVERSATIONS

Seek out experts, people who have trodden the path already and have conversation with them. Best education you can have

4. READ/LISTEN...TAKE ACTION....READ/LISTEN...TAKE ACTION

It's simply background if you have bookshelves of personal development books, constantly consuming podcasts, and you aren't taking action from them.Taking action is key.

5. VALUES

Know and really understand what is important to you. Shape your life to those things, and look after them. You will be much happier, fulfilled and successful.

6. GET COMFORTABLE WITH BEING UNCOMFORTABLE

Run towards things that make you uncomfortable, not away. Your situation is normally a reflection of how safe you are staying.

7. BE A GREAT COMMUNICATOR AND LISTENER

Try to go into every conversation, situation with curiosity as though you know nothing. Hear what that other person needs and is saying.

8. GET A MENTOR OR COACH

Someone that will challenge your beliefs about yourself and what is possible. Stop thinking there is only one way and you have to do it on your own.

9. VULNERABILITY IS A SUPERPOWER

Someone that always seems invulnerable and has it all sorted will struggle to form deep and meaningful relationships. Find people you can trust with your invulnerability and create trust with others when you display it. It will open many doors.

10. IMPERFECT ACTION BEATS PERFECT INACTION EVERY TIME

Trying to get everything perfect will just get in the way of taking action. There will never be the right time or place, perfection is just a story we tell ourselves to stay safe.

Have a wonderful day.
